I having an issue connecting my printer to my computer, which is running the 64bit version of Windows 10. I downloaded and ran the installer. It was able to "see" my printer, but was unable to complete the setup. Any ideas?

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Forums.
Can you try to Connect via USB first and then convert to WIreless (if needed) later on?
These examples will show you how it's done:
HP Envy 4520 Download and install software and connect with USB connection- Part 1
HP Envy 4520 Convert a USB connected printer to Wireless Connection – Part 2
If still not successful, then try to uninstall and reinstall again following these steps:
1. Uninstall the software in your computer
2. Download and save the FULL feature software (do not install it online)
The following resource will help you :
http://123.hp.com/us/en/
Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.
3. Install the FULL feature “Saved” software
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
If you are not sure how to do this, the following resource will walk you through the steps:
How to Uninstall Download & Reinstall a Printer software
Hope that helps!

Interesting. Up until my computer crashed recently and I had to reinstall windows it was working just fine having it connected through the ethernet port on the back of my printer. Why would they have an ethernet port on the printer if it didn't work?

Hi @airplayne,
You're right, the specs is wrong.
Anyway, there is no need to convert to Ethernet, it should auto detect once you plug the ethernet into the printer.
However, you can "Connect a new printer" from the HP Printer Assistant.
From the HP Printer Assistant > Utilities > Printer Setup and Software > Connect a new printer
Hope that helps!
