Hi, is the printer still within warranty? If so, contact HP Support as you may require a replacement..

My printer is still new and suddenly my scanner does not work...it did work before. when i click on the scan option a window comes up which indicated that the HP DESKJET 3510 WAS NOT FOUND. all the other functions of the printer is in perfect working condition except the scanner.

I too had the same 0x02b7c2ed error code problem with my Advantage 3525 All-In-One and just like many others nothing of the suggested solutions worked and started to "play around" with the settings and I discovered that if I had "Wireless" and "Direct Wireless" both set on "ON".
So as I am printing via my home network I switched "Direct Wireless" to "OFF", which fixed the problem in my case.
So I think that the problem appears when both"Wireless" and "Direct Wireless" are "ON". So if you have this problem as well, check if both your "Wireless" and "Direct Wireless" are set to "ON" as well and if they are switch the one you do not use to "OFF".
To check it or change the settings go to Settings >>>OK >>> Wireless >>> OK >>> and select either "Wireless" or "Direct Wireless" depending which one you do NOT use >>> OK >>> and switch it to "OFF" by clicking OK.
I hope this helped many other people with this problem.
