I'm trying to get HP Digital Fax Archive set up on my Mac and have shared a FAX folder to use. I can get the Setup in HP Utility and choose the folder but when I select Apply, it appears to save thte changes but does not. When I then select All Settings, I get a message indicating the changes were not saved. And around and around we go. I've tried sharing other folders and have SMB and AFP on the shared folder but nothing seems to work.

If I tried to edit the Digital Fax Achive setting directlry on the printer, a message is displayed that its not set up, see the manual, whih has zero information on this problem.

Anyone know how to get past this?

I can select a folder for the Digital Fax Archive and click on save but the setting is not saved. After the Digital Archive Fax page is displayed again, if I click all settings to go back, I am promoted "there are unsaved changes, do you wish to save them" and if I select Yes, save, it does the same thing. Looks like it saves the setting but never does.

The pages referenced concerns saving faxes on the printer, not a computer.

Hi @MRYFLYGUY,

Thanks for the super quick reply. I reviewed the post comprehensively. Please follow the instructions on pages 56 and 57 and that should do the trick for you only if your printer supports digital fax. That's how you setup digital fax. If it cannot be setup, then the printer does not support it.

I'm beginning to think my printer does not support it - even though all the documentation indicates it should!
