Has anyone dealt with this problem? Can't get it to fit in, and somehow as you may be able to see purple port is getting messed up in there and I can't see how on the male plug side what could be mis-matc

Hi @juntjoo76 ,
The purple plug has a tab in the upper side, so there is only one way to plug it in the printer connector.
Just need to pair with the back connector in the printer.

Thanks. Mine is a slightly different one. Apparently someone lost the original purple plug to match the purple port. But mine is close enough to where I just had to cut the plug between those prongs. Like webbed fingers they were which doesn't fit the port. Works now. Hmm.. Printer powers on and is displaying messages... Perhaps I should double check the transformer(?)/adapter is correct at least...

Hi @juntjoo76 ,
Yes, you should check the adapter is correct. At least the printer is working now. 😊👍
