I have been encountering the same issue as Henk02 ever since I first got the Envy 6200. I only scan or copy infrequently but every time it will crash on first attempt, with the display on the printer corrupting, requiring a power cycle, after which scanning will work.  This happens whether scanning is initiated from the front panel, the scanning utility or the Smart app.

Printer reports that firmware is up-to-date, as is Windows 10.

Printing has never been a problem.
