Thank you for that advice. I actually didn't need to remove and add web services. I think that would probably be needed with a pre-owned printer, but we purchased this one brand new.

 

I followed the directions here:

Under FAQs, "Can I change my printer email address?"

 

This says to sign into www.hpconnected.com and change the setting there.

 

I was trying to change the email address at the HP Instant Ink site before, which used to work, but now doesn't seem to. But the HP Connected site did work for me.
