Every time I try to enable and go to settings < advanced < webscan , it says my connection is not private; attackers might be trying to steal your information from this ip ( for example passwords, messages , credit cards and won't let me see the page. Is there any way around this or way to change it?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

If your printer is in the same  network as your PC (private home network for example), once you see the prompt, go to "Advanced" and proceed to the IP address to get into the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS).  It will only prompt you once.

If you need help, this resource will show you how to enable the Webscan.  (Chromebook is using Webscan to scan, depending on your printer model, you may be able to scan multiple pages)

Thanks.

I am an HP Employee. Although I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
