This post came up at least 2 years ago: and when my cartridges ran out and I replaced them everything seemed to resolve itself. I may have also used some link to HP to resolve the problem also. I also used a work round for black copies that I found here also.
Telecine: I am not a computer whiz just a user that will trawl the appropiate websites for a solution rather than pay for help and it has normaly worked.
I would say if you are having trouble with it carry out a reset, you will not damage it, also try deleting the software and reloading it.
I always keep a paper copy and and electronic copy of any instructions and place them in my computer file for future reference.
