When I start my HP PSC 2410 Photosmart all-in-One printer a noise comes out (cri, cri, cri etc) and the Reset power green light continues to blink and cannot use the printer.

I tried to reset using the "canc" button and also a hard reset without success.  The problem started with a message Check the black cartridge: I replaced the cartridge but the problem is still there.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi costante,

You might try doing an Ink System Reset.  To do this, remove the ink cartridges.  See this link.  Close the carriage access cover.  Follow the Hard Reset instructions in the following link.  Click Here  Once the printer powers back up and indicates that one or more of the ink cartridges are missing, re-seat one of them and close the access door until the cartridge registers.  Repeat the process until all cartridges are reseated.  Did this help?

Also, remember a click on the Kudos star to the left is a quick "Thanks" for a helpful post.

Thank you for advice. I followed the instructions on how to clean the scanner glass internal surface. Once completed I pushed the cancel button down and turned on the printer. I held the cancel button until the start sequence was complete. Then the cartridge alignment took place and at the end the printer was ok. I hope that the problem be over.

Many thenks also to the HP forums.
