A very warm welcome to the HP community. A very good day to you.
I understand that you have an HP printer. I read that you have forgotten the password for the printer and would like to reset it inorder to connect to the wifi. I'd like to assist you with this case.
To provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Are you unable to access the printer setup menu? Is it asking you to enter a password?
- Normally, while connecting a printer to the wifi network, the wifi security key or password must be entered so that the printer connects to the wifi. So you just the printer password and not the wifi password, correct?
- Please let me know the exact product model no. This link will help you to find the model no: Find your Hp product details
Meanwhile, please refer to this HP article to know how to find your wireless WEP, WPA, WPA2 Password (Windows).
Please feel free to reply and I'll assist you further. Cheers! 🙂
