Hi, I had this problem aswell.
I fixed it today. However, since I were not able to find a suitable answer to this problem myself I will provide the way how I fixed. Nonetheless, I don't know of this way is sustainable, since i just got it working.

This fix is for when both the duplex cover/thing with multiple rollers  (i don't know the suitable name for it) and the white piece of plastic with shark teeth have come lose.

Note: I did this in a HP Envy 4526 printer.

1. Remove the roller.

2. Remove the part (as seen underneath) from the duplex cover/thing with multiple rollers. You can just pull this off from the rod of the Roller. Don't worry (remark: This is possible for the Envy 4526, i am not certain about others), if it does not work you can place it back easily.

PieceOfRoller

3. Pull the Roller (with the weel and the rod) back in the printer. Be aware, you have to put the roller quite deep in the roller, since otherwise you can't put the overhaul back.

4. Put the overhaul back. It should be quite easy to put it back, otherwise your roller is probably positioned wrong.

5. Test if your printer can print something.

Message for HP: I'm shocked that the customer service of HP did not know the answer for this simple problem. Next to that, i am dissapointed in the help that HP has provided to itscustomer in this matter, since a solution for this common problem cannot be found on the internet.

The "duplex cover/thing with multiple rollers" is the duplexer.  I am glad things are working for you. Does the printer still properly make automatic two-sided duplex prints?

I do not have an Envy 5530 or Envy 4526 to check, but I doubt HP designed and manufacturers a complex part with multiple pieces including a bearing that is not needed....
