Re: t120 error cant not load media

HP Recommended

I am experiencing the same error today out of the blue!  Did you ever get an answer?  Was it a defective part or did a software or reset do the trick.  Any advice would be great!

Thank you!

Hi,

Please confirm are you using Plain Roll Paper or Plain sheet paper(A4 Size). Please avoid transparent roll/sheet paper. If you want to using transparent paper, you need to add extra packing tape on the paper left adn right side border due to line sensor detect/check only left and right border side. Packing type must be using untransparent type.

Please open the back cover and check the paper detect sensor is right position (you just open the sensor ans reset the position). Then try to load the paper. If failed, please check line sensor is working properly or not (While load the paper line sensor will emulated on 3 colors, if not emulated) that means line sensor is faulty. In that time clean the line sensor and check again, if failed please replace the line sensor.

I hope that information will help to you.

Please confirm.

Rashed

Hi,

Before replace the line sensor please confirm and check it.

Line sensor light is emulated or not. If not you may check otherway.

Please check for purchase:

Some times carriage unit or training cable becomes faulty. So I am suggest to you, you may replace whole unit (Carriage Unit with belt and trailing cable)

You may try clean the line sensor or resoldering the line sensor board and lets try. If failed then try purchase new one. In that situation, please at first contact with your nearest HP Authorize service centre and share the information. I hope they will help to you. If you haven't find, then you may purchase the spare's.
