I have the same issue with my 8612. Cant figure out how to unlock the administrator lock. Please provide me specific steps to solve this problem.

I understand that you are unable to unlock the admin password for your HP Officejet Pro 8612 e-All-in-One Printer.

Please check your Private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile.

 

Next, to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
