Hi, i need help understanding the (recommended monthly usage) term as the M227 fdw and M426fdw have similar price in some retailers after the cashback on M426fdw but it is for home use and the recommended monthly usage on M426 for printing is 750-2500 which i will not be doing!! and the scanning is also high.
my question is what will happen if i use it less than that, will the printer not last long as meant to be?
Thanks

Going by the specifications, to simply answer your question “what will happen if I use it less than that, will the printer not last long as meant to be?”
It will last as long as it is supposed to last. Lesser usage than what is prescribed will not affect the printer’s longevity. These are just technical specifications to assist the customer and to highlight the features of these printers.
However, please keep in mind to use the printer on a regular basis, to ensure that the printer works correctly and stays healthy. You need not use it to full potential as described by the specifications of the printers.
