The printer is looking for the old network. Reset the printer to default configuration, connect via USB to a PC and update to the new network.
I have had my router replaced so many times, I can almost do this in my sleep.

I changed the security settings on my router, and now can not connect the printer. I've gone through the steps listed above (repeatedly), tried the Wi-FI Protected Setup, and went through the troubleshooting your printer network connection steps from HP. I keep getting "your printer failed to connect to the network. Issue: Unknown." MAC Filtering is not turned on. I've unplugged/reset router and printer. Same results.
Any other suggestions?

Hi Cirrus,
It's been awhile since I have had a problem. However, it is not clear that you connected the printer to a PC via USB. Within this part of the process, the printer accesses the Router ID and password.
I still have the printer cable plugged into the printer in the event I need to ever go through the process again. Then, all I have to do is set my laptop on the shelf below, plug the USB in and go through the process.

I'm stumped!
I know that it is frustrating. I know one time, I printed out the guide and put check marks by each step. I swear I wasn't doing anything differently, but it worked. I never figured out where I may have been taking a shortcut. One time, the printer defaulted to my neighbor's router and I had to scroll down one to mine.
