I printed a document on my printer last week. Is it possible the document I printed then is still available on the printer somewhere? Does it get stored? Thanks for any help on this as I do not have it saved to my computer & think it is lost for good.

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
Sorry, the print is gone.
For next time, assuming your life is not now over and ruined, you can set it up so your computer will save print jobs for reprinting later.
Be Aware:
This method does make your printing queue look a bit strange as the queue always has the printed jobs in the queue -- the jobs do show as "Printed" and not pending or waiting so you should quickly get used it.
Although I wrote this on a Windows 8.1 system, I do think this will work for Windows 7...

Just as another solution, when you send a document to your printer via ePrint (i.e. emailing the document to your printer's email address), it is saved in your HP Connected (formerly ePrint Center) account for 30 days.

Ah, thanks!
I thought it was just the log information that is saved for ePrint.
Good to know that the file can be reprinted as well!
Like that!

Thanks for this one as well; I have just seen it and it says valid for 30 days. I'm very much obliged for your answer.
Next time of course, I shall make sure I have copies (plural)of the file so will not have to use it but nice to know it's there as an emergency.

You are welcome.
We both learned something new today! Smiling.
I use the "Reprint" function as a sort of training mechanism for the most part, although I do like having a copy of a file "right there" if I want it.
Someday... When and if you can do so... Two reasons you might consider moving to Windows 8.1 (or beyond):
With the advent of Windows 8, one can easily use the Windows backup program File History to back up most personal data (those folders one keeps in Libraries folders) to an external Drive. The backup runs automatically at a predetermined time - from one every 20 minutes to daily, pretty much what you like. The backup is incremental -- you get pretty everything at some point. You do (of course) have the option to exclude data that you do not wish to back up.
OneCloud Storage -- Strore only what you want to store there. You can store only data you want to trust "out in the Cloud" or you can copy everything there -- it is automatic and yet you have control over the data. As long as you remember to "make available offline", you can also put the data on your File History backup. Double backup safety.
