HP SLS-3 Structured Scanner
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

No HP 3D AUTOMATIC TURNTABLES are available in the market to support the HP STRUCTURED LIGHT PRO S3.   The old David 4 SLS software did support third party turntables over serial port before acquisition and removal of this feature by HP.  Considering that HP TT-1 turntables are currently unavailable anywhere in the world for the last 18 months, users have ZERO options for implementing a turntable setup.

Can HP please release a patch to once again allow 3rd party turntables to be used with the HP David version 5 software?  At the very least, allow HP Sprout turntables to work with the HP Version 5 David structured scanning software, without  requiring a dedicated HP Sprout computer system to also be attached.  This is too narrow of a vision for the product, as some users may want to automate the scanning of largere than 60cm objects, which will difficult without being able to implement their own custom turntable.  Thanks.
