Resetting the Web page

I don't remember the username and password for the Web page that my printer is centralized. I need to scan and it states that that this feature is disabled.

When I try to open it, it asks for username name and password. I don't remember either one. Can you please help?

I see you are facing an issue with the printer, where you are unable to scan as you are being prompted for the username and password.

For me to be able to assist you better, I would require some information.

Can you share the screenshot of the window which is prompting for the password?

May I know the procedure you are using to scan?

Do you have an HP Connected account?

Are you able to print?

How is the printer connected to your computer? (USB or Wireless)

Recommend you to refer to this Article for assistance in managing the printer using an HP Connected account. 

Print a network page from the printer, refer to page number 56 in the printer manual. Click here for the printer manual. 

To check network configuration or print wireless test report

1. From the Home screen, touch the Wireless icon, and then touch Setup.

2. Touch and drag your finger vertically to scroll through the options.

Touch Display Network Summary or Print Network Configuration Page.

The network configuration page will help you with the username (email address for HP Connected account.)

The ip address of the printer mentioned in the report will help you to get to the EWS page of the printer.

To enter the EWS page of the printer, open any web browser and type the ip address of printer on the address bar and hit enter. 

Once you have the EWS page on your, you can manage the settings on the printer.
