Recently changed to Windows 10.1 from XP. I had difficulty with "basic driver" (v7) suggested by HP download pages. But having followed another forum member's advice and downloaded v8.1 it is at least nowprinting.
But after a 6 month lay-off the heads need a clean. But System Maintenance is not available. I am simply told that the printer needs to be connected directly by USB. But it already is.
I don't seem to be able to get past this closed door.
I guess its a case of getting the XP Pro laptop back out of the cupboard and using that. But I'd rather not go through the bother.

I'm a bit confused.
Most of the links I follow are dead links they all go to the same page.
So if you run Windows 10 you are out of luck running the maintenance system because HP no longer supports those printers?
What are you suppose to do?
