I was having challenges with my printer and found a potential solution that someone posted which also stated "Note: If you manually set the printer's IP, make sure that it is outside of your router's DHCP range. Otherwise you may run into an issue with duplicate IP's on your network. (If you don’t know how to do this, write back and I will explain). Don’t forget to click “save changes”. Now, restart your computer and print anything you want. 🙂 " Can anyone please help me, I do not know how to ensure that my printers IP is outside of my router's DHCP range. Thank you inadvance.

Finally! I have been dealing with this issue; just the way you have, with endless, repeated, support calls! I have pasted this into Evernote so I will always have it if I need it again!
