Cannot scan from HP Envy 7640 to MacBookPro. Wireless connection

Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums! After reading your post I see that you are unable to scan from HP Envy 7640 printer. I would like to help you out with this issue today.

  • Confirm if the issue is also printing-related.
  • Restart devices and check driver scan settings.
  • Check the network and printer connection status.
  • Check third-party firewall software settings.
  • Remove and re-add the printer.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the printer driver and software.
  • Reset the print system.
