I have read other posts that say scanning multiple photos and saving them individually does not work on my 8620. Like others, I am confused as to why they would remove a perfectly good aspect of this multi-use printer and sort of dumb it down to an older level. My thoughts are that HP likely lost a lot of their good tech people. We had a Canon printer a while back that did the scanning and saving multiple photos at once thing. It might behoove us all to go back to our last printers. This 8620 is not as good as our older printers. Too bad.

Hi,

Please use Auto Crop and it will scan few photos and save one by one. For Windows please try

(a) Double click printer icon on desktop, and put photos on the glass (face down),

(b) Select Scn a Document or Photo,

(c) Click Advanced

(d) Tick Auto crop then Aplly/Ok

Regards.
