HP Full Feature Software

Scanning Tips: Add HPScan shortcut to the Taskbar (Windows 7)

 

First, download and install the Full Feature Software for your printer:

 

  • Example > Add HPScan shortcut to Taskbar (Send to Desktop)

Open File Explorer >

Navigate to the folder where the printer software is located

C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\HP Officejet Pro 8630\bin

(NOTE:  Replace “HP Officejet Pro 8630” with your printer)

Right-Click HPScan.exe > Select Pin to Taskbar ( or Send to Desktop)

 

 

Standlalone program HP Scan Extended   

 

Navigate to

C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\HP Scan Extended\bin\

 

Right-Click HPScan.ext > Select "Send to Desktop"
