Product: Officejet 6700 premium
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Something has caused by printer not to be able to connect to DEll XPS All-in-one PC to allow scans to be sent to PC. On printer when I select scan and (to) computer I get message "Windows: open HP printer software, select Scanner Actions, select Manage Scan to Computer. Can't find HP printer software?

Hi,

Right click the Start button and select Programs and Features.

 

Type HP into the top seach bar, what results are shown?

 

Folloiw the tool below by selecting Fix Scanning, be sure to follow the listed steps and check if it makes any difference:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/HPPSdr.exe
