Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Scan to email has recently stopped working although it has been used many times in the past. I get the message 'Proxy problem' ' Printer could not connect to the server'. I'm asked to go into the Proxy settings and input the Address, Port and Authentification but I don't know what these are or how to find them.  The printer is connected to the Internet.  I followed a similar thread on here that offered a solution, I tried the steps there, but they didn't work. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
