Scan to email setup using yahoo mail

Can someone please tell me what to type in the box that is requesting SMTP server? during the scan to email setup process for the 8600 plus all in one printer. I am trying to set it up to send from my yahoo.co.uk email address. I have tried typing in Yahoo! Mail in all kinds of ways however a window always appears stating "Invalid SMTP server name".

Hi,

Try setting as following and check fi that may work:

SMTP Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk

SMTP Port: 465

Check the box next to Always use secure connection (SSL/TLS)

Check the box next to SMTP server requires authentication for outgoing e-mail messages

SMTP User ID: your full Email address

SMTP Password: the password for your email account

Hi,

Unfortunately for me it didn't work.

I did all as suggested, once scan is finished , yahoo mail will open a new message but no document is attached. Is there anything else I can do to fix this?
