ScanJet 1000 mobile scanner
macOS 10.15 Catalina

Hello everyone,

 

since I've updated my Mac to Catalina it won't longer recognise my HP Scanjet Professional 1000 Mobile Scanner. Before the update I was using an application called HP scanning utility (see attached image), which is not operating anymore because Catalina doesn't support 32Bit applications.

 

Neither is the scanner recognised by Image Capture, nor by HP Easy Scan or VueScan. Does anyone have an idea how to get this running again?

PS the previous post didn't resolve issue ; it went into conversation in private but nothing posted as public. Thank you; So i have reposted the question here since I am having the exact issue.
