Product: HP officejet 7612 printer

When I switch my HP Officejet 7612 Printer on the display panel shows  ! Scanner failure.

 

 

Unable to scan,copy,or send a fax.  Whats the problem?

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post. 

 

I understand that you are getting a scanner failure message on your printer and are unable to make a copy, scan or fax, is that right?

Not to worry, I will be glad to help.

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps on your own?

 

The issue you are facing could be a hardware issue and the printer might need to be replaced. 

Recommend you try to reset the printer as suggested in this HP Article. 

If the issue persists, please contact our phone support to check on the service or trade-in options available.
