Issues:

- Scan docs from printer to my MAC but out of sudden it doen'st work.

- Error Message: User name or password is incorrect. Make sure both user account and passowrd are vaid.

Splendid effort and fabulous description of the issue before posting. Kudos to you on that score. 🙂  You are a valued HP customer and it is paramount to assist you here. I take it as a privilege to share this platform with you. 🙂

 

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this.

  • Which application are you trying to scan from?
  • Is it Eprint, or Easy scan or Apple image scan?
  • What username and password is it referring to?
  • Does it print from the computer correctly?
  • Is it a wireless or USB connection?
  • Did you change the router?
  • Do you have a wifi direct connection?

For starters, please try these steps:

Please reset the mac printing system from this link: http://www8.hp.com/h20621/video-gallery/us/en/customer-care/printers-and-all-in-ones/mac-videos/REFI...

Please check if it scans correctly. If the issue is not fixed uninstall the printer software for Mac from this link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-OfficeJet-4650-All-in-One-Printer-series/5447930/model/544793...

and reinstall the full feature software from this link: http://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-officejet-pro-8720-all-in-one-printer-series/7902... Please select the operating system and download “Easy Start”.

It will search for the full feature software and reinstall it. This should do the trick for you.
