Product: HP deskjet 1510 All in one

My HP Deskjet 1510 All in one Series has stopped scanning.  When I push scan the on/off button starts to blinking.  When I used the scan doctor it starts to scan and then stops and the on button starts to blink again.  The printer is still working. Just wondering if my scanner has **bleep** itself...
