HP Recommended
Scanjet Pro 2500 F1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The original pages are duplex, color, landscape.

 Settings are factory default except:

Page size= 2-sided, book

Page orientation=landscape, left edge

Destination: searchable PDF

I scan 5 pages.  On the scanner's preview software the images are perfect but when I open the PDF file that gets created, some of the pages have a different orientation than what appears on the scanner's preview.

And i can't get Adobe to fix the rotation on a single page.

Here's one example.

The 6th scanned page looks like this on the scanner preview.

nhmartens_0-1632274149919.png

But in the actual PDF document it's rotated 90 degrees clockwise.

Why doesn't the PDF document agree with the image displayed by the scanning software?

Thank you.
