Product: HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've scanned a printed document and the result is a picture of all the text but it isn't editable, copyable nor does OCR appear to be available. I need to translate the doicument from Spanish to English. I thought my HP Officejet Pro 8600 had that ability? Can anyone advise please?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you

 

Due to the current global COVID-19 situation, we're seeing an influx of customers coming in for support. We appreciate your patience.

 

OCR software is required to use this feature. Open HP Scan software on the computer, and then look for a Save as Editable Text (OCR) shortcut.

  • If the shortcut displays, select it to scan the item as a document that you can edit.
