Hi,

From your PC open the HP Deskjet 3050 J610 software and select Scan a document or photo.

Select PDF and set the scan resolution as 300 DPI or lower.

Ensure th eShow Scan Preview box is checked and click Scan.

Using the plus button below the preview scan your next pages.

Once you are done click the Save button.

Hi Shlomi,

Maybe I am as dumb as a stump but could not figure out how to find and run the program.

I now use W10 and have spent numerous hours over the days and have been unsuccessful.

Any suggestions what I can do next?

Thanks again.

Hi @Peter74,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.  Apologies for jumping in.

Please ensure that you have the FULL feature software installed.  If you have not done so, the following resource will help you :

HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL50403/mp-150580-2/hppiw.exe

After installing the FULL feature software, please refer to this relevant resource, which will show you how it's done:

Scanning multiple pages to a PDF document

Hope that helps!
