Two Questions:

1)  Should there be a specialized slide holder in the kit?

2) Why won't it scan slides?

Hi,

1. Yes, the kit called Transparent materials adapter (TMA). you may have to buy separately.

2. Please use User Guide from the following link

The scanner came with the TMA and I got it to work with negatives, but I can't find the template or whatever you call it, where insert the slides into it, to hold them for the scanner.  So until, I can find it again, I can't try and scan again.

Hi,

From page 9 of the manual (above link), it will show you how to scan negatives and slides.

I finally figured it out after much trail and error.
Once I found my slide template I was able to get it to scan.
Now I just have to fine tune it to get an acceptable scan

Thanks for all your help
