I am attempting to scan a letter for the first time. I am getting the letter which is 8 1/2 x 11 in three pieces. I don't want three scans that I have to try to put together. I want my letter in one whole page.

Please Help!

@MzG

The details, of course, depend on several factors, including:  printer model, Operating System, program used to submit the print job to the printer, whether or not you have installed the Full Feature Software for the printer....

I am not sure I undersetand your context.

If you want to scan three pages into one document, each page 8.5 inches X 11 inches

AND

If you are using a recent version of Windows

AND

If your printer is either attached to the computer via a USB cable or available on the network

THEN

Download and Install HP Scan Extended

Basics

Open Program

Select Options Save as PDF >

Page Size Letter (8.5 X 11 inches) OR Auto detect

More > Destination > File Type

Check / Clear box Separate file for each scanned page > OK

Hello MzG

I would recommend you to first install the HP software for printing and scanning. After please go to HP scan and choose the right option say - letter size in your case and choose scan. Hope this helps.
