This is the first time i have gotten a "Server Connection error 403".
I scan to email a lot for my job.
I have tried the steps found online, wherre I put in the printer IP address in the browser and do the manual IP address in the network. This do not work.
I have the HPPhotosmart 66520
Any help to fix this matter is greatly appreciated
Thank you

Hi @Mimi011,
Good Day! Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community. I understand that you have issues with the computer that shows an error message scan correction error 403. I will be more than happy to assist you. 🙂
Spectacular effort. Brilliant diagnosis of the issue before posting. You’ve done an amazing job here. 🙂 Kudos to you on that score. 🙂
You are a valued HP customer and we appreciate you greatly for doing business with HP. I have reviewed the situation and it is paramount that we address your issue. Thank you for giving us the privilege to assist you on this platform.
For better clarity and to assist you better, I would require more information regarding this.
Have you tried making copies directly from the printer to isolate the issue correctly to not being hardware related?
Please let me know the operating system that is being used?
For now please try these steps:
f you are getting the Server Connection Error 403 when using Scan To Email and other Web Services are working properly, the fix is to reset Web Services. You will lose your custom ePrint email address during this process and have to make a new one.
1. Press the Web Services button on the front panel.
2. Press settings.
3. Press 'remove web services' and confirm its removal.
This will bring you back to the homepage.
4. Press the Web Services icon on the printer again and go through the setup process.
5. This will give you a new code that will print out, which you can use to add the printer back to your eprintcenter.com or hpconnected.com account.
Also run the HP print and scan doctor utility from this link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-ENVY-4520-All-in-One-Printer-series/5447920/model/5447921/doc...
if the operating system is Windows.
If this does not work please try all the steps in this link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Photosmart-6520-e-All-in-One-Printer-series/5169038/model/516...
Hope this helps. Let me know how this goes. I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. 🙂 Please reach out for any issues and I'll be there to assist you. 🙂
To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help.
If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles. 🙂
Take care now and have a splendid week ahead. 🙂
