When setting up my HP Photosmart 7525 for send and receive a FAX, it asks for a Fax Number as part of the outgoing fax data. What do I enter here? I have a Comcast digital voice phone sytem and my printer is linked to my HP Desktop by a USB.

Hello Javauno,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand you're trying to send and receive a fax over digital voice using the Photosmart 7525. I will do my best to assist you! You should be able to enter the outgoing number right on the control panel of your printer: (This information is stated here.)
- On the printer control panel, touch the Fax icon (
).
- Use the numeric keypad to type the fax number in the Enter number window. To add a pause (-), touch the Star button (*) repeatedly until a dash displays on the screen.
- Touch either Black or Color , and then touch Fax original from scanner glass .
Also, I am going to provide a HP document on Faxing with VoIP Services. In this document it does state that: HP fax products are designed to work with ordinary analog phone service, HP cannot guarantee that the HP fax product will work with a VoIP service.
Please post your results, as I will be looking forward to hearing from you. Have a great night!

Thanks for the reply. I am at a even more basic point. When I go to set up the HP for Fax, it ask for me to enter a Fax Number. Does this mean my regular telephone number or do I "create" a number? I am thinking this is the number incoming Faxes will use to contact me.

Thank you for your response.
Are you using the Fax Setup Wizard? If so, then this number would be set up with Comcast Digital Voice. Do you have more than one phone line?
If you only have one line, then you don't have to "Create a Number", this will be your regular telephone number. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
