Hi!

New printer today. Can't figure out how to set-up wireless print. I set it up with the USB originally and now can't find a way to switch from USB to Wireless connection.  :catsad:

I also checked in settings and can't find "Wireless Wizard" or anything! I know my printer is supposed to have these capabilities because I looked it up before purchasing and BestBuy said it can do Apple AirPrint and everything. Super confused. Please let me know!

Hi,

From the following link it is not a wireless ready printer

     http://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-laserjet-pro-mfp-m130fn

It only has

Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port (device); built-in Fast Ethernet 10/100Base-TX network port; Phone line port (in/out)

But you can use a CAT5e or CAT6 cable and connect its Fast Ethernet 10/100Base-TX network port to your wireless router and it can work as a wireless printer. Please use the following guide to set it up (from page 13):

Mobile printing made simple

Print from iPhone® and iPad® with AirPrint®, which automatically scales jobs to the correct paper size.[3]

Send jobs from your smartphone, tablet, or PC to any company printer, using Google Cloud Print™ 2.0.[4]

Print with the ease of sending an email, right from a smartphone, tablet, or notebook, using HP ePrint.[7]

How can I set that up? My router is in another room so I can't connect it directly to it.

In Network Services, there is a thing that says "Google Cloud Print". How can I set that up?

Hi,

How ? You have to connect it to a wireless router fist.

That's what I'm asking. How do I do that?

BH,  Many thanks to you for explaining what HP failed to show or else misdirected me in my purchase of the MFP M130fn.

I wasted hours trying to do a "wireless" installation using HP EasyStart.app with my MAC computer.  Repeatedly HP message was "No devices have been found."

Next I traveled to Staples seeking help.  Jeff tells me to order the instalation CD on line, $10.00.  Bummer!

Thank you for explaining that there must be a wired connection between the MFP M130fn and my network router.  Once the cabled connection was installed, the HP EasyStart worked flawlessly.

HP should pay you to review and correct their poorly written communications for its products.
