Setting up MFP M277dw with answering machine

I've just purchased the Laserjet Pro MFP M277dw and need to set it up with an answering machine. Faxes need to be identified and received otherwise people can leave a message.

Currenty the answering machine does not work (it did on my previous HP 2410 photosmart). When I test the answering machine does not connect - it redirects to fax expecting to receive a fax.

I've used same settings as HP 2410 photosmart

Can anyone pls assist

for your case, you may want to set up to Fax/Tel mode.
