Hi having this issue with G-suite as well and MFP m577. Set-up the smtp.gmail.com to port 587 and 465. Not working.

 

You said you created a password for the printer. Was that in a particular place in your google account?

 

HP really needs a better explaination on how this should work. Spending way too much time on this.

I have an HP Envy 4500 and tried to scan to Gmail; went into the app passwords, etc., but I'm a bit confused as to the passwords for the printer itself.  If someone could help me I would appreciate it.  Thanks!!

Thank you !!!!  That worked for me.  Now that I have set it up and it worked, should I go back to Google and change the setting back to secure or will that block my printer?
