LaserJet Ent. Flow MFP M630
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

We have multiple Laserjet Enterprise Flow MFP M630's in our organization and we cannot get the Save to SharePoint feature working. We are on SharePoint 2013 Enterprise Version. The problem is that in the HP's EWS we do not get the option to shorten the URL button for the destination URL path. We are following the instructions to the letter. Please help.

NOTE: the MFP's are networked printers

Hello,

Please try these.

Open EWS page of the printer.

Go to “Scan -> Scan to SharePoint -> SharePoint Setup”

SharePoint Setup has three followings steps:

  1. Add SharePoint Path
  2. Log-in Authentication
  3. Setup Configuration

Steps for Setup “Scan to SharePoint” in EWS page:

  1. Click on “Add” button to create SharePoint.
  2. Enter the “Display Name” and “SharePoint path” in the edit box.
  3.  Then click on “Generate Short URL” then click on “Next”.
  4.  Select “Always use the following credentials” option under “Log-in Authentication” option.
  5.  Enter the user name and password of the SharePoint server under “Authentication requirements” and Click on “Next”.
  6.  Select the appropriate settings under “Scan Settings” and “File Settings” for the scan job to be performed. E.g.: Under “File Settings”, changed the “Default File Name” as “Scan”.
  7. Click on “Save and Test”.
  8.  “SharePoint setup is been saved successfully” message will be seen after successful configuration of SharePoint setup.
  9.  Click on “OK” button.
  10.  Make sure the created SharePoint is seen under “SharePoint Profiles”.

Hope this helps for you.

Thank you.
