Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

From time to time the message on software update appears. When I run the update client, it fails. Update client cannot download it.

 

I am connected to Internet and have no problem in other applications/programs. (I have VDSL modem, metalic connection, IP address is assigned by internal DHCP, no proxy set,...)

The connection is established as can be seen from printscreen, disconnected and there is another attempt. Is there any log file so I could reveal the cause of troubles?

PID 3736 is HP Update Client.  IP addresses belong to Austin and Houston HP servers.
