Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello,

I am having an issue with this printer.

It is plugged in via CAT5, it has DHCP and I can view it with the tool suite it installed, as well as through web.

Printed once great, and never printed again, it has been power cycled, reinstalled, when I installed and connected via a different PC also Win7 64 Pro, I could see a bit more info on it.

It seems to be stuck in Cancelling job mode.  Not sure why.  I have emptied the print spooler on both PCs that are attached to it (the SPL/SHL files in Windows\system32\spool\...) which I have done countless times over the years for everything from big laser printer to thermal transfer.  I think it is stuck in the print buffer, but I have power cycled it, even unplugged it and the buffer is not clearing.

undefined

So I am somewhat at a loss currently on how to resovle this.  Systems have been rebooted, new drivers etc.

Please any help would be appreciated.

Hi @BigD1963,

Thanks for reaching out to the forums! I understand that you are having issues with the job status showing there is a job canceling. I would be happy to help you.

Please try the steps listed in this document: Print Jobs Stuck in Print Queue.

Let me know the results of the Print and Scan Doctor.

If you are still having issues, reset the printer back to factory settings.

The job is in the printewrs print buffer, not in the queue, the queue shows empty.  Also, it would be FORCED EMPTY by doing the steps I already stated, I manually cleared the print spooler, and said that in the first post.

The drivers have been reinstalled, and have been tested on different systems.

The Scan Doctor told me "There is Somehitng wrong" and that's it.

There is no files in the print spooler on either PC, they are EMPTY on the PC end, it is the printer that won't clear the buffer.

Hi @BigD1963,

I realize that, that is why I provided the reset for the printer to set it back to factory settings to clear out the printer's memory. Did you do the reset with the same results?

Thanks!
