Hello everybody I hope you can help me. I have an HP Designjet T1100 when turned on it is stuck at 0% won´t move it has 1 beep then 8 beeps. After a while it will go to the error 08:11.
I tried removing printheads, ink and formatter.
When I remove the formatter and turn it on. Is the same stuck at 0% but this time no beeping.

08:11 is an issue with your front panel not communicating. The code translates to 08 - Front Panel, 11 - Reseat, Reconnect, Clean Manually.
Have you tried reseating the formatter, checking to make sure the end connections are not damaged.
TAke the front panel out and reseat and clean the connection behind it, make sure the cables are not pinched or damaged.
With the formatter out, start up the printer and check the 3 LED lights and see what combination you have. They are located where your network cable plugs in. There is a chart online you can search google for that tells you what the lights mean depending on their combo of flashing, on or off.
One thing to kep in mind with your T1100, the printer is now obsolete. Getting parts and service on it from HP will not be an easy task if they offer anything at all. If your machine requires parts, might be time to look into trade in for HP Rebate on a new model.
Hope this helps

You said all the formatter lights are off, do any of them ever come on when you first power on the printer? If none of the lights ever come on that is an indication that the formatter could be defective.
If you have a PostScript printer that you have to be very cautious replacing parts has some postscript DesignJets will not accept a used Formatter.
If my post resolves your issue please click the accepted as solution button under it.

Ok, so after a year almost we replaced the Main PCA however the plotter is giving almost the same error. It turned on did a hdd check disk, when it was almost going to start initializing it powered off by itself and stayed at 0% again. I put back the old Main PCA it now has error 02.1:10 well, since HP has discotinued replacement parts for this model I will send it to the cemetery.
I´m pretty sure that by replacing the Carriage PCA it might fix it. Since before everytime it it said initializing it powered off and the carriage did not move.
We will never know 😞
