This may be a dumb question. I purchased a roll of proofing paper with a 3" core. The post or spindle  (not sure what it's called) at each end is 2". A coworker had something that fit on the ends to help secure the paper roll on the post but it now is too large (3 3/8") and won't fit the 3" core. Are there "ends" that I can purchase to fit a 3" core onto a 2" post ends?
