Officejet 7610
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Problem:  Trying to print on 11x17 from Excel - the Tabloid option is no longer there.

History:  I just switched over to a new Dell laptop Latitude E5570 from an older E6530.  The older laptop was running Windows 10, Office 2016, and Adobe products.  The new laptop is running Windows 10, and I installed the same exact programs on the new laptop and moved my files over.  The new laptop has more memory and a different, faster processor.  The only other difference is that I have installed Microsoft Office 2016 over Office 2013.

I don't have any problem printing to 11x17 on the old laptop.  The option for tabloid is there.  Does anyone know if Office 2016 does not include the Tabloid/A3 paper size options?  That's the only thing I can think of.  I've read other threads and tried adding forms, (cannot find "Advanced" tab under Properties to download 9800 drivers), etc, but to no avail.  Don't have anymore time to spend on this.

Any suggestions?  It's incredibly frustrating to have a printer for large format purposes that you cannot use for that purpose.

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP Officejet 7610 printer. I understand that tabloid option is not available on your printer and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.

Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,

  • You need to create a 'form' for the paper size to display as an available size selection.

How to Create Paper Size in Windows:

  • Click Start and then click Devices and Printers.
  • Click the printer icon for your printer, and then click Print server properties at the top of the window.
  • On the Forms tab, select the Create a new form check box.
  • In the Form name text box, type a name for the new paper size.
  • In the Form description section, select Metric or English.
  • In the Height and Width text boxes, type the height and width for your custom paper.
  • Leave the Printer area margins set at 0.00.
  • Click Save Form, and then click Close.

Now you should be able to find 11x17 size or tabloid, whatever you named it under the forms setup.

If the issue is resolved and you appreciate my help,

Please click the "Accept as Solution" button and the "Thumbs Up".

Let me know how you make out.

Cheers.
