Hi. We are currently undergoing a lot of auditing network-wide and we've had one of the printers come up on the security vulnerability scans showing that a Telnet type port is open and I can even telnet to it.
The port in question is port 223, which shows as Telnet to the security scanner (tenable).
I have gone to the web GUI and turned off Telnet service entirely, but it still did not disable that port.
I ended up having to use the built-in firewall on the printer to disable / block access to port 223 which did end up working but clearly is only a band-aid.
Is there a way to turn off port 223 on this printer? Is it running under a different service name that I am just not realizing?
Thanks in advance!
