Thank you HP for replacing the defective black 564XL cartridge.  I had to call twice before I could find someone who was able to communicate with me and understand the problem.  I feel that I can no longer order my ink cartridges online since trying to fix a problem is so painful and takes so much time.  I will still recycle the cartridges.  The person who fixed the problem saved the printer and kept me from throwing it away.  I am unable to locate live chat on the website.  That would seem to be so much easier.  Thank you

Did the replacement black cartridge resolve the issue of black not printing on your Photosmart 6520?  Or are you still waiting for the replacement to arrive?  [I ask because usually for the Photosmart 6520 the issue is not the cartridge if black does not print.]

From a post by Sunshyn2005, to contact HP Support see the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click on: HP contact options - click on Get phone number.  There may also be an option here for chat.

I think chat is only available for products in warranty.  If the cartridges are in warranty but the printer is not I think you need to put the information for the printer in, then when it says it is not in warranty  there should be a place to dispute the warranty information.  At this point mention the cartridges are in warranty.....
