I have HP all-in-one 3632 and cannot find out which button on the machine is for scanning. I have asked here, as have others, and gotten a crazy answer about how to do it through the computer software. Supposedly, there is a button on the printer, like my older HP models had. However, neither me nor hundreds of others can get an answer to this question. Do you guys leave off the button? Hving to go throug the computer application takes a lot more time than pushing a button. Also, after each photo is scanned and the "scan complete" message appears and I click "ok," the box disappears and I have to go open it again. This adds approximately 1 minute plus seconds. I have hundreds of photos to scan and print. This is a bit crazy.
Please help! I am considering buying another product to make this project go more quickly. If I must, it WILL NOT be an HP, even though I have bought HP printers since 1992.

There are technical reasons why no scan button on this device.
This device is network capable, so if a "Scan" button is added, you would need to determine which computer on the network to send the scan to. For devices with a LCD display, you can choose a computer from the list configured when installing the scan driver, but this device has no display.
