HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 5575
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I noticed something strange inside the printer, I can not understand whether this is a paper.

If you open the tray and remove the cover to clear the jam, this item will be visible. I can not get it, but the printer prints all without errors, ideally.

Owners of 5575, check your MFP for this thing, please. Is it normal?

It is barely visible, but I tried to take a picture. Sorry for the dust 🙂

The paper is in a hard-to-reach place and there is no information on the site how to get it out of it. She is behind the rollers, after the metal part behind the rollers. If you open the lid closing the rollers, you can not get to this paper in any way. Is it exactly paper?

Somehow I managed to push my finger and touch this thing. It seems that this is not paper, but something like a cable. Very similar to the material from which the carriage cable is made.  It needs people with the same printer to have it checked its presence in your printer.

Since that is not papaer, I suggest you contact the nearest HP contact center to assit you to get that fix.  Is your printer still within warranty period  ?

Hello Vladimir78,

You may ignore it as its not causing any paperJam or paper Pick issue. I guess its part to let the paper move in to the printer smoothly.

However, if "PaperJam" occurs,  kindky call HP Tech Support for assistance.

If you are in USA, call 1-800-474-6836
